The January consultation saw 100% vote in favour. The club and Brookhouse shared the plans for the new sports centre and facilities. The plans propose the club moving to the land adjacent the club`s rugby pitches resulting in all the facilities being housed in one area. The new facilities will include an indoor sportshall, fitness suite, community cafe, creche, meeting rooms, large function room and a Parish Clerk`s office. The club are delighted that the hard work of so many people has now paid off. Club Chairman, Dave Healing said, `The club`s redevelopment is a golden opportunity for the village and surrounding areas. Successfully obtaining this grant will help us to go forward with our plans.
