Our club is ran by a Volunteer Executive Board. This consists of a the Chair, Treasurer / Secretary, Social Secretary, a representative from each of the sporting sections, a Borough Councillor and two Helsby Parish Councillors. In addition, Michelle Pickstock, Development Manager, also sits on the committee. Recently a separate Development Committee has also been set up to lead the challenge for funding for our new clubhouse project.
John Burke - Tennis Chair
John has lived in Helsby since 1999. He became involved in the club in 2004 in order to get his daughter actively involved in sport. It didn`t take long before John became involved in the campaign to secure new tennis courts. Despite being the tennis rep, John claims to have a weak backhand!

Michelle Pickstock - Development Team
Michelle joined Helsby Community Sports Club in January 2007 A Helsby resident who virtually lives on the club`s doorstep, Michelle previously worked for a local authority and an IT Company. With two young children growing up in the village, Michelle, is really keen to ensure the club`s facilities grow.
Terry O`Neill - Rugby Rep and Redevelopment Team Member
Terry was born and bred in the Village and has played sport at Helsby Community Sports Club from the age of 15 (a long time ago now) and is still playing rugby some
40+ years later. He was the last Chairman of the Senior Rugby Section and is still the Treasurer for the Junior Section. His main ambition now is to see a new clubhouse built on the site so that the Club can be developed as a Sporting Centre of Excellence for the whole area. The new Clubhouse will be a main attraction and hopefully build up membership for all the sporting sections.
George Randles - Volunteer Development Officer
Following retirement from his day job George quickly found himself busy as he took on the role of Development Officer in a voluntary capacity. George is passionate about making sure the club secure new facilities before the existing ones fall down.
